Staff members, such as teachers, counselors, front office staff and school leaders, can browse the school's student directory and shared information. Staff access is read-only, with no controls to change the roster or manage the school.
What you can see
- The student directory. Search and filter the roster by grade. Open a student to see their photo, grade and address, and their parents' names.
- Parent contact details. You see a parent's email and phone only when that parent's contact visibility is on. Their name always shows. Families can also hide a home address, and then you do not see it.
- The Staff Directory. Every member of the school can browse it.
- School information. Notices, the calendar, lunch menus and documents your school shares.
What is different from a parent account
You have no children of your own in the app, so you do not have a "my child" section or a Linked label on any student. Your school can send notices, permission slips and polls to staff, for example to all teachers. Things addressed to you appear in the same places parents see them.
Where to find things
Use the left menu. On a phone, it opens from the menu button at the top left. In the iPhone, iPad and Mac app, it is the sidebar.
Good to know
- Your school decides which features it has turned on, so your menu may differ from another school's.
- Access is a school decision. If you need a change, the school office can help.
- You cannot see other people's private notes, stars or lists.
