From the School Administrator manual, "Operator Access Requests".
Senior Admin only. Flux support staff cannot enter your school as one of its users without your explicit, in-app approval. If they need temporary access to help with something, an Operator access requests section appears at the very top of Manage Access, above everything else, showing who's asking, which school, and their stated reason. The section only appears while a request is waiting; when there are none, nothing is shown (it no longer has its own menu item).
- Approve (1 hour) — grants a single, time-boxed hour of access, automatically expiring after.
- Deny — refuses the request.
When a request arrives you also get a notification in the bell and, if you use the iPhone, iPad or Mac app, a push notification on your phone. Opening the notification on the web takes you to Manage Access, where the request is at the top.
Deciding from the app. In the app, a Senior Admin sees a Support Access Requests section at the very top of Access. It is hidden unless Flux support has an open request for your school. Each request shows who is asking, the reason, how long ago it was sent, and that approval lasts 1 hour. Tap Approve or Deny and confirm. Tapping the push notification opens Access with the section showing (and switches school first if the request is for another of your schools). Pull down on Access to refresh it.
Every action taken during an approved session is recorded in both your own Audit Log (Audit Log) and Flux's own platform-wide log — entering your school this way is fully consent-based and fully audited, never silent.
Separately, and as the Privacy Policy says, Flux operators (our own authorized staff, who sign in with multi-factor authentication) can view your school's rosters (students, parents and administrators) and export your school's data for support and contract purposes, without opening a support session. Every such view or export is recorded in Flux's platform-wide log together with the operator's identity. Private notes, stars and lists are never included.
