From the School Administrator manual, "Managing Other Admins".

Senior Admin only (a Junior Admin can't grant or change admin roles). Admins are managed on Access, under Active Admins and Pending Admins — separate from the student roster.

To invite a new admin: click + Invite someone new, enter their email, choose Junior Admin or Senior Admin as the role, and click Send invite. If that email already has an account, they gain admin access to your school immediately (you'll see a confirmation message).

To change an admin's role: use the dropdown on their card; it saves automatically.

To remove someone's admin access without deleting their account: click Revoke admin access — this demotes them to a regular parent role rather than deleting anything.

To temporarily suspend an admin: click Deactivate (becomes Reactivate). A deactivated admin loses every admin ability the moment you click, even if they are signed in elsewhere, and cannot reactivate themselves. A deactivated Senior Admin no longer counts as a successor: if you deactivate the only other Senior Admin, you will not be able to demote or deactivate yourself until you promote someone else.

Pending admin invites (not yet accepted) show under Pending Admins, with Revoke invite.
