From the School Administrator manual, "Document Library".
Go to Manage Document Library (/documents/admin) to see everything published, including an
auto-generated "School Details" entry (managed automatically from your School Settings —
contact Flux support to change how it's built, not editable here directly).
To publish a document: click + Add Document, fill in the title/body (the same formatting toolbar as Notices — see Notices for what each button does), optionally attach files (PDF, Word, Excel, images), and optionally scope it to an Audience (see Audiences (Targeting)) — leave the audience blank to publish to the whole school. Existing documents can be Edited or deleted from the same list.
Category: if your school has categories (see School Settings, Categories), the form has a Category list - pick one, or leave it on No category. Parents see it as a colored label next to the document and can use the category buttons above the Document Library to show just one kind. Documents published before categories existed stay uncategorized until you edit them.
Who is notified: publishing a new document sends everyone who can see it (the whole school, or just the Audience you chose) an in-app notification and, on iPhone/iPad/Mac, a push notification ("New document: ..."); tapping it opens the document. You, the author, are not notified. Editing an existing document does not notify anyone again.
Attachment descriptions: each attached file gets its own optional short formatted note, entered right beneath its filename in the Add/Edit Document form — useful for "Signed by both guardians and returned by Friday" or similar context a bare filename can't carry. Leave it blank and nothing extra shows under that attachment.
SwiftUI app: Admins see a + button on the Documents tab — tapping it opens a New Document form with Title, Body (the same formatting toolbar as Notices), Category and an Audience picker, and an Attachments section. Tap Add Attachment to pick a file (PDF, Word, Excel, JPEG or PNG, up to 10 MB) — on iPhone/iPad this opens the Files/iCloud picker, on Mac it's a normal Finder-style picker. Each file uploads as soon as you pick it, and the trash button removes it again. Nothing is published, and no one is notified, until you tap Save (which waits for any upload in progress), so the notification your audience gets is for the finished document, attachments included; Cancel discards it. After saving, the new document opens. The edit form has the same fields as web: Title, Body, Category, an Audience picker, and Attachments. Opening any existing document's detail screen shows a pencil icon (except the auto-generated "School Details" entry, which can never be edited or deleted on either platform); tapping it turns every field editable in place, with Delete Document available from within Edit mode (behind a confirmation). Parents don't see either affordance.
