# How do I sign in as school staff?

Your school invites you by email. Register with that same email, confirm it, and sign in on the web or in the app.

Your school invites you by email with a staff role, such as Teacher or Counselor. To sign in, register with that same email address, confirm it, and then sign in on the web or in the app.

## Before you start

Flux Student Directory is invitation only. A school administrator adds your email and role first. Ask the school office if you are not sure whether they have done this, and which address they used.

## Register

1. Go to www.studentdirectory.app, or install Flux Student Directory from the App Store.
2. Choose **Sign up** (in the app) or open the **Create an account** page (on the web).
3. Enter the email address your school invited, and a password of at least 8 characters, then choose **Create account**.
4. Select **Confirm my email** in the message we send you.
5. Check your school on the welcome screen, then continue.

## Signing in again

Enter your email and password. If you prefer no password, choose **Send magic link** and use the button or the 6-digit code in the email. **Forgot your password?** sends a reset email.

## If your school does not appear

If you see "No schools were linked to your account" or "Contact your school administrator," the email you used is not on the school's list. Ask the school office to add it, then sign in again. You do not need to register a second time.

## Good to know

- Two-factor authentication is optional. Turn it on from **Security & Password** on the web or **Profile** in the app.
- The app needs iOS or iPadOS 26.5 or later. There is no Android app, so use the website there.
