# Is there an Apple Watch app?

Yes. The Apple Watch app is a read-only directory that gets its data from your iPhone, so you can look up students and contact parents.

Yes. The Apple Watch app shows your school directory on your wrist. It is read-only, so you can look people up but not make changes.

It needs watchOS 26.5 or later and the iPhone app on your paired iPhone.

## What you can do

- Browse the full student list, with grades and a star indicator for students you starred on your iPhone.
- Switch schools, if you belong to more than one.
- Open a student to see their photo or initials, their parents, the address and your private note.
- Each parent on the student page is one card with their name, phone and email. Tap the text, call or email button at the bottom of the card.
- Tap an address to open it in Maps.
- Add the Flux Complication to a watch face. It opens the app.

## Setting it up

1. Install and sign in on your iPhone first. The Watch never signs in by itself.
2. Open the iPhone app so it can send your data to the watch.

Until the watch has your data, it shows "Open Flux on iPhone."

## Good to know

- Everything is stored on the watch, so it works without your phone nearby once it has synced.
- You cannot star students, edit notes or answer polls on the watch. Use your iPhone for that.
- Signing out on the iPhone clears the watch too.
