# How do I sign up to volunteer or bring something?

Open Sign-Ups, pick a time slot or item, and select Claim. You can change or withdraw before the sign-up closes.

Open **Sign-Ups** in the left menu, select a sign-up, and select **Claim** next to the time slot or item you want. Until the sign-up closes you can change your choice or withdraw.

## Steps

1. Open **Sign-Ups**. A number beside it shows open sign-ups you have not looked at yet.
2. Select a sign-up and read the description.
3. Under **Time Slots** or **Other Items**, find what you want and select **Claim**.
4. Add an optional note if you like, and select **Save note**.

If an item says **This item is full**, its limit has been reached. Items without a limit stay open.

## Change or withdraw

- Select **Withdraw** to give up what you claimed.
- Choose **Change to...** to move your claim to a different item.
- Edit your note and select **Save note** at any time.

All of this works until the sign-up closes.

## Good to know

- Sign-ups are public to the people who can see them. You can see, by name, who else has claimed each item, and they can see you. There are no anonymous responses.
- The organizer may send a reminder to people who have not claimed anything yet. You can get it as an in-app notification, a push and an email.
- Opening a sign-up clears its badge, whether or not you claim anything.
- Clubs and teams can run sign-ups for their own members.
