Open the permission slip, choose **Yes** or **No** for each of your children it applies to, and select **Submit**. You can change your answer until the slip closes.

## Steps

1. Open **Permission Slips** in the left menu. A number beside it means a slip is waiting for you.
2. Select the slip and read the details and the "required by" date.
3. Under **Permission for each student**, tick **Yes** or **No** next to each child. Only one box per child can be ticked.
4. If you tick **No**, you can add an optional reason.
5. Select **Submit**. You see "Your response has been saved."

## Changing your answer

Return to the slip any time before it closes and submit again. The slip closes a couple of days after its required-by date. After that it is read-only, and the answer that stands at that point is final.

## Printing a copy

Use **Download PDF** to get a print-ready copy for a family that needs paper. It lists each of your children with their answer: **Permission: YES**, **Permission: NO** (with your reason, if you gave one) or **UNDETERMINED** if there is no answer yet.

## Good to know

- Saying No is allowed, for example for a trip you do not want your child to attend.
- A child's slip waiting for an answer is counted in the number beside Permission Slips. A No counts as an answer, the same as a Yes.
- Only the school sees the responses.
